We were approached by start up advertising agency Yolo, to create a visual language for their branding and logo.
Signs and symbols are the basis of visual communication. This is where we started in creating a non-traditional, interchangeable series of icons that would make up the name YOLO, an acronym for You Only Live Once. We’ve used a number ‘1’ consistently in place of the ‘L’ to drive home the ‘once’ aspect. A rich fabric of other symbols make up the remainder of the identity and brandmark, which is produced in a range of colour themes.
